It’s that time of the year again… Resolutions tend to be neglected every now again, am I right? I think that this year, it’s time to push further goals and aspirations. Hence, MMXX+ New Year's Intentions for XVITALDESIGNS is a start.
I’ve come across several quotes in my life, one of which I am always drawn to when time call for a change or a new beginning. How fitting that it’s translated, ‘The New Life’ from Italian poet, Dante Alighieri’s La Vita Nuova, published in 1924.
“𝑰𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒚,

This quote I hold dear to and find myself referring back to it almost every New Year’s time. Memories are so precious, and the more nostalgic qualities to each memory can bring about a particular feeling to you. Sometimes it’s not as direct, but at times you know it can come at you just in a snap!
Also, randomly found a screenshot—pulling out from the plethora of screenshot archives that I’m sure we all have—with this quote, “Remember why you started.”
In the very beginnings of developing XVITALDESIGNS, I knew that there needed to be momentous goals in order to take this brand forward. Ultimately, the launch of this brand has been a stepping stone for what is to come in the future. Now, I know that all these cannot be completely attainable in such a short year. Nonetheless, these are the 2020(+) goals for XVITALDESIGNS:
- Formulate a Signature Fragrance
- Develop a Candle with Signature Fragrance notes
- Curate a Skincare Line based on my top beauty essentials
- Create a Signature Handbag
- Produce a fashion line/collection/capsule per upcoming seasons
Obviously these are long term goals, and I will be pushing forward day by day to get even closer to the end result. I invite you to journey with me through this process and hope this is an eye-opener to how much I have thought through every detail.
As always, most long term goals are accompanied by the short, and the upcoming drops or phases are going to be ancillary to the Signature Series. In the next few months, I hope to showcase some newness:

The road to 2020 has been quite a run. So many connections I’ve made with each and every one of you has given me the push I needed to jumpstart this exploration. I personally would like to thank you for all the support—it means more than you know.
In closing, I end this with a quote from Socrates, “The secret of change is to focus all your energy not on fighting the old, but building on the new one.” With a tremendous thank you and appreciation, I wish you the best in the start of the New Year with memories that help you push forward in your own lives.
