It’s crazy how the world is nowadays. We’re all feeling that there is a weirdness that is present today. It may feel like the end of days, but if you look at it, we are beginning to open our eyes to things we never paid no mind towards.
Recently, we've seen several individuals on social media showing us how scared and anxious they are feeling. Overall, it’s somehow uniting us knowing that we are all going through the same thing together through this global pandemic.
Not trying to divert from the subject, but also tying in a fashion aspect, we see how the fashion industry (as well as others) are collaborating in making an effort to strengthen us as a society during this turmoil. And just as the fashion industry has taken the concept of fast fashion under their wing in the past—adapting to trends straight off the runway or integrating subcultures.
Now, I may not have been gifted with the talent of singing like Christina Aguilera or whoever floats your boat, but I do know that I have the capacity to bring a smile.
Although it may not be a roll of toilet paper, I'm sure we all need some humor in times like these. Deep breaths in and exhale all that crazy. In light of adapting to the new normal, stay strong and safe + maintain a healthy social distancing! I am introducing the 𝐗𝐕 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬.
So while we’re all self-quarantined at home, enjoy some time to self-care and relish in self-discovery in a new pandemic style other than your typical face mask or gloves.
